Wednesday Nights in November will offer a wide array of opportunities.
November 3rd: Dr. Renee Bridges
Title: Learning together about suicide prevention.
We will share different perspectives on how to support someone in crisis. We will learn how to recognize someone who is at risk for suicide, and ways to respond to prevent suicide.
November 10th: Bible Study – The Path of Life series continues with “Two stories, two women, and moments of sin and grace.” We will look at two stories where Jesus encountered people that others impugned, but Jesus restored. One story is the Woman at theWell, and the other is the woman brought to Jesus to be stoned. In both cases Jesus’ response was counter-cultural and filled with grace.
November 17th: Hymn Sing Derrick Arellano and Irem Özay will lead all that gather in singing the great hymns of our faith. This will be a wonderful time to come and lift your voice in song and celebrate your faith in Jesus.
November 24th: As is our tradition, this Wednesday before Thanksgiving our building will be quiet, all activities are set aside, as we all begin to gather with our families and celebrate with gratitude the great gifts of God in our lives.
The above programs will be held from 6:30pm – 7:30pm on Wednesdays in the Fellowship Hall. They will be preceded by a Fellowship Meal which begins at 5:15pm. The cost for the meal is $6. If you would like to join us for the meal, please call the church office by noon on Tuesday to make your reservation. No reservations are needed for the programs.
