What's An Adult?
When we say "adults" at Westwood, we mean a community of people of all ages, from 18 to 100! We are a diverse congregation when it comes to age and our opportunities for adults to engage are numerous. Scroll down to see some of the main ways you can plug in as an adult at Westwood!
Sunday School
Sunday School is our main small group ministry happening on Sunday mornings at 9:15 A.M. It's called 'school' because it's an opportunity to dig deeper into Scripture, relevant topics, and relationships with others. Find your group by clicking the button above!
Missions
Missions are part of the heartbeat of life at Westwood! From monthly missions groups, to trips, to short term projects–– there are ways for everyone to serve at Westwood! To see current missions opportunities, click the button above.
Prayer and More
Prayer is more than just conversation with God, it is one of the ways that we grow together as community. There are multiple ways for you to engage your prayer life at Westwood!
- Tuesdays at 7:30 A.M. - Join us as we spend time in prayer over breakfast.
- Wednesdays at 6:00 P.M. - Join us before our weekly Bible Study as we pray for one another and our faith community.
Age-Based Adult Opportunities:
Parents of Young Children and Young Adults (and all in their 20s-40s without kids)
- Sunday Morning Live - A community that meets on Sundays during Sunday School, but also gathers together in a variety of ways throughout the year. To get involved, visit the Sunday Morning Live Sunday School class on Sundays at 9:15 A.M. in room 101.
- Third Sunday Meet-Ups - Every Third Sunday we meet up for lunch following worship at various restaurants.
Senior Adults
Our Senior Adult group is easily one of our biggest and most active groups!
- Monthly Senior Adult Luncheon - Second Tuesdays at noon in the Fellowship Hall
